Captain Save Em'- Doing God's Job

One thing I have always noticed when people are first saved is they want to save everybody , they want to minister to everyone , they want to basically become Captain Save Em!

Now before you come for me, I know our job as believer’s is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. God created us for this purpose. One the main roles as a part of God’s army and as his children is to bring forth his will on earth as it is in heaven. Stay with me as I teach this , while it is our job to take back territory for God’s Kingdom , to bring as many souls to Gods kingdom as possible , there must also be discernment and wisdom when faced with this type of calling .

While God has called some to be saved immediately , there are some people that he has predestined a time and a season for them to go through various trials or experiences that to us may seem unfair, may make us upset ,confuse us or may go against what we believe this person should be experiencing.

First let us remember this God we are talking about! The Ancient of Days, The Eternal One, The I AM that I AM, The Almighty , The Dreadful God, The Alpha The Omega, The Everlasting God – I can go on and on.

God said in his word Ephesians 1:11- In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purposes of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will.”

That means that God has predestined , has foreknew , has decided how and when he will work all things according to his will.

When we as believers do not consult God and begin to minister to everyone, everything, enforcing our own will in places where we have not been sent or called, we interfere with God’s plans, authority and sovereignty in his kingdom.

The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness there of , the world and all who dwell therein. Psalm 24:1

Do you know that God created evil and that those spirts inhabit people on this earth which can be used for his purpose? God also has predestined some people to live in a certain way and to experience certain hardships and evil and to do evil for his purpose as well. This may be challenging for some people to receive because the world has painted God as a God who loves everyone, that is not true, a God who wants to bless everyone, also not true.

Times in the Bible Where Believers were Not Called to Minister :

Exodus 7:13- And he hardened Pharaoh’s heart, that he hearkened not unto them as the Lord said.

God in his power could have softened Pharoah heart, he could have ministered to his heart so that he would release the children of Isreal but instead he did the opposite and hardened is heart . Why did God not send Moses to minister to Pharoah or soften his heart toward Isreal?

Isaiah 6 :9-10- Be ever hearing, but not understanding be ever seeing, but never perceiving . Make the heart of this people calloused  make their ears dull and close their eyes.

God had sent his prophet Isaiah to minister to his people , however they refused to receive God’s warnings to turn from their sin and disobedience. God then purposely allowed the spirit of confusion and rebelliousness to come upon them and continue among so that they would not be forgiven until he had executed his judgment against them.

Romans 1:28 Since they thought is foolish to acknowledged God he abandoned them to their foolish thinking and let them do the things that should never be done .

They had already received ministering but decided to reject God and begin to serve the enemy more than God through the spirit of homosexuality, murder , greed , lust strife, deceit , depravity, malice and other wicked acts -God decided to let them go and give them over fully to do exactly what they wanted to do .

Matthew 12:34 Brood of vipers! How can you being evil, speak good things ? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

They saw , they heard, they knew he was the Christ but yet they refused to believe , whether it was their pride , their jealously and just God’s plan .  Imagine you had Jesus Christ, The Savior , The Redeemer -minister to you , who came to save you , to free you from bondage , to give you life , but you refuse and instead you sought  to have him crucified.

Why did God not stop Jesus from being crucified, why did he not send someone to minister to them on Jesus’s behalf, why did he not soften their heart so that Jesus would not be crucified on the cross?

Simply put: His plans are not our plans, what may feel good or seem right to us is different from what God has predestined and designed to occur. So before we take on the mission of trying to save people, without talking to God, praying for his will to be revealed and moving out of our own understanding we need to seek God and wait for his plan to be revealed. Discern, Discern, Discern.
